LAUREL E. DEIN focuses her practice on estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. She advises individuals on all aspects of estate and tax planning, and has experience preparing revocable living trusts, life insurance trusts, education trusts, living wills, powers of attorney, health care directives and real property transfer documents. Laurel also assists her clients with considering, planning and implementing charitable giving, gifting, business succession planning, and family business formation, including limited liability companies, corporations and family partnerships. Laurel prides herself on creating customized, high-quality estate planning documents for her clients. Laurel endeavors to explain all aspects on a well thought out and technical plan, as well as ensuring that the plan is effective for years to come.
Laurel received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law in 2008, and graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine University in 2005, where she completed a double major in History and Organizational Communication. Laurel externed at both the Solano County and Yolo County District Attorney's Offices during and after law school, where she gained trial experience. Laurel has utilized this experience when representing trustees, beneficiaries and other invested parties in trust and probate disputes.
Currently residing in Arden Park with her husband, Court, and their dog Tess, Laurel is a Sacramento native, having attended Loretto High School and Sacramento Country Day School. In her spare time, Laurel is an avid equestrienne and has competed in horseback riding events across the west coast. She spends most weekends at her barn located in Wilton. Laurel also enjoys traveling and has visited over two dozen countries to date.
